What are interdental brushes?

Buletedan has helped thousands of companies around the world achieve the production of quality products through our professional manufacturing solutions.

Interdental brushes, also known as interproximal brushes, are small, specialized brushes designed to clean the spaces between teeth and around dental appliances like braces, bridges, and crowns. They're particularly useful for removing plaque and debris from areas a regular toothbrush can't reach, contributing to improved oral health and helping to prevent gum disease and cavities.

Key features of interdental brushes:
Design:
They have a small, often conical or cylindrical head with fine bristles held by a thin wire or plastic core, similar to a mascara wand.
Size:
They come in various sizes to accommodate different gaps between teeth, ensuring a comfortable and effective fit.
Function:
Interdental brushes are designed to be inserted gently between teeth, then moved back and forth to remove plaque and debris.
Benefits:
They are effective in cleaning areas a regular toothbrush cannot reach, helping to prevent gum disease and cavities, and are particularly helpful for those with braces, bridges, or implants.
How to use interdental brushes:
Choose the right size: Select a brush that fits comfortably between your teeth without forcing it.
Insert gently: Insert the brush between the teeth, as close to the gum line as possible.
Move back and forth: Gently move the brush back and forth to remove plaque and debris.
Clean after use: Rinse the brush thoroughly with water and dry it for reuse.
